30 Days For 30 Dollars - Day 17 - Inexpensive Artwork

Wondering what 30 Days for 30 Dollars is?? Read all about it here.

You can often find inexpensive picture frames at thrift stores. The finish may not match your decor, but that's an easy fix with a can of spray paint. For example . . .

. . . this lovely little frame, picked up for 50 cents. Wasn't lovin' the brass finish, or the harp-playing cherub picture.

So the cherub picture was removed, and the frame got a coat of dark turquoise spray paint:

The picture was a free download from The Feed Your Soul Free Art Project - one of my favorite places to find fun, unique, free printable art.

As soon as I saw this picture I knew I had to have it because it reminds me of my little Cousteau:

Isn't he cute??!!
