Wondering what 30 Days for 30 Dollars is?? Read all about it here.
Found Object Magnets

My project today starts with plain magnet blanks found at the craft store for $1.30:

Then I scoured the house for cute items to glue onto them:
attached with hot glue - buttons, broken jewelry, a sea shell, a tiny pine cone, and a glass pebble - really any objects you can find will work
Total cost: $1.30
Bonus Project: Dollar Store Magnet Re-do
I picked up these number magnets from the kids section at the dollar store - but the primary colors didn't really fit my decor. So they got a coat of silvery blue spray paint . . .
Total cost: $1.00
